This is a piece I was commissioned to do for `OchreJelly's of his character, Fire-from-the-eye. This character was so fun to work with because of her unique design ^___^ and I rarely find myself working with red-heads hehe. This character also has a very tragic back-story which made drawing her all the more interesting :D.

Beautiful lighting on the hair! I also love the composition of this - the stained-glass looking window background to compliment the hand in the other corner. Lots of beautiful detail. I love how her one pigtail fades into the background for depth.... BEAUTIFUL work!

Lovely, lovely work. I love how you paid such close attention to the clothes, accesory, and even the skin details! And her eyes definitly do seem to burn, quite lovely!

Alright...I said I was going to wait, but I couldn't. You did a fantastic job, Michelle, I really love it, as you've probably noticed from my giggly-schoolgirl replies to your notes. :XD:

Anyways, on to ranting about the pic. I love her face, and how you even managed to capture a little of the tragic look in it. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, I just get that vibe. I especially like her lips. Her hair is fantastic and probably my favourite part of the whole piece. It looks very lively and vibrant and I really like how messy and intertwined it looks.The pose is great too. Her hands are really well done, and the scales are great. :D I also really like the frame and the background inside. The way the sky fades to blue is wonderful and I really like how you did the clouds.

Thanks again for a wonderful commission. (I've said that 50 times by now, but I mean it that many times! :XD:) I'm really happy you had fun with it too.
